Rival vendors Nokia Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent disqualified on technical grounds.
Telecom equipment providers Ericsson and Huawei Technologies Co. have been shortlisted for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.'s 93-million lines mobile phone project, Business Line reported Monday, citing unnamed sources.The project is estimated at $6 billion, the report said.
Bids of ZTE Corp., Nokia Siemens and Alcatel Lucent were disqualified on technical grounds, the report said without elaborating.
